In addition to my services as a Birth Professional, my knowledge of the physical and physiological changes that occur in a woman's body during pregnancy and childbirth allows me to help you prepare to have an easier, more satisfying delivery and recovery. Rather than “modifying” your workouts during your pregnancy and postpartum, let’s train specifically for these events and the normal stresses that occur. As you progress through each trimester, I will help you decrease pain and keep you exercising safely. My approach to training prenatal and  postpartum clients focuses on maintaining the integrity of the pelvic and core muscles, proper alignment, and movement mechanics, allowing you to emerge from this exciting adventure stronger and ready to take on whatever life (and children) throw your way.

 

Common conditions I can help with include, but are not limited to: 

  • SI joint pain

  • Round/broad ligament pain

  • Symphysis pubis dysfunction 

  • Piriformis syndrome

  • Sciatica

  • Diastasis recti

  • Pelvic pain

 

Consider working with me as your Personal Trainer throughout your pregnancy, as your Birth Doula during labor and childbirth, and after in the postpartum period to help you recover and regain your strength. It would be my honor to support you throughout the entirety of your pregnancy and childbirth journey!

Train one-on-one with me, in person in the Bay Area or virtually. Whatever your goals may be, I will lead you through a strategic, creative, and personalized exercise program that will help you move more confidently and efficiently. Getting back into movement if you have been gone for a while, or if you never had a relationship with it before, can be intimidating. I am here to make working out accessible and enjoyable, no matter where you are on your journey!

 

Fitness modalities that I utilize in my personal training sessions include:

  • Strength training

  • Functional movement

  • Pilates mat

  • Circuit training / HIIT

  • TRX

  • Barre

  • Self myofascial release

  • Rehabilitative exercises

  • Flexibility/mobility
